About NOBL

Neighbors of Belknap Lookout (aka “NOBL”, pronounced noble) is a resident-led non-profit organization in Northeast Grand Rapids. We have been building community in the Belknap Lookout neighborhood since 1980!

We organize community-building programs and events such as neighborhood cleanup days and parties in our parks. We plant flowers and trees. We work with neighborhood volunteers and create neighborhood leaders. We promote public safety activities. We operate the Belknap Collaborative Garden, run the Belknap Tool Library, and facilitate neighborhood committees.

Join our Team!

We’re seeking an intern for summer 2025! Join our team this summer and gain hands-on experience in grassroots organizing, event planning, and public communications while directly serving a vibrant neighborhood. This is a 3-month part-time role with a monthly stipend. Applications are due by May 11.
