Short Description Strong Beginnings is a federally funded Healthy Start program in Kent County that provides culturally responsive, free home-visiting and community support services including prenatal care, parenting education, mental health counseling, breastfeeding/chestfeeding groups, and fatherhood initiatives to Black and Latino families during pregnancy through early childhood, aiming to reduce racial disparities in birth outcomes and strengthen community systems of care
