JOIN A COMMITTEE
Committees are groups of neighbors who work together to support projects and initiatives in our neighborhood.
- The Beautification Committee meets every 4th Thursday, 7pm, at the NOBL office.
- The Community Development Committee meets every 4th Monday, 6pm, at the NOBL office.
- The new Neighborhood Engagement Committee is meeting as needed.
- If these are of interest to you (or if you want to start your own committee) please reach out to us! We’d love to have you get involved.
SERVE ON THE NOBL BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Neighbors of Belknap Lookout (“NOBL”) is led by a 9-member volunteer Board of Directors. Our board meets monthly every 2nd Monday, 6:30pm-8:00pm, usually at the NOBL office (700 Clancy Ave NE). Board meetings are always open to the public.
Board elections take place annually at our Annual Meeting in November.
If you are interested in serving as a board member, we encourage you to reach out to us and start attending our board meetings! Attending board meetings before you join the board will give you a better sense of the work we do and how you can help us fulfill our mission.
LEAD A NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECT
Neighbors of Belknap Lookout is dedicated to empowering and supporting our neighbors. We work with residents and businesses to support neighbor-led projects that promote safety, beautification, community, education, and more. If you have an idea that will benefit the neighborhood, please let us know what you have in mind. We will discuss feasibility of the project, potential funding opportunities, and resources available to help make your idea a reality.
